Growing up, I was inspired by my high school art teacher to pursue a career in education, a path that has allowed me to combine my passion for art with my love of teaching. After graduating from college, I opened a small pottery business while beginning my teaching career. I returned to my alma mater, San Vicente Catholic School, where I taught students in K4 through 8th grade. My family's journey then took us to North Carolina, where I taught kindergarten through 5th grade at Northside Elementary. We later relocated to Wisconsin, where I joined St. Matthias School. After teaching here for a year, I am grateful to continue serving this wonderful school community. As someone who was raised Catholic, I value the faith-filled, values-based education that Catholic schools provide and am honored to be part of that mission. Outside the classroom, I am married and the proud mother of four daughters. I enjoy spending time in my garden, where I find peace and renewal. I also love attending hockey and baseball games with my family. As an artist, clay remains my favorite medium, and I enjoy creating pottery whenever I have the opportunity.
