Hello! My name is Jenny Ryan. This will be my 3rd year as an Educational Assistant at St. Matthias Parish School. I work with the children in their classrooms, small groups and one on one. Together with the teachers, I am there to support each child's unique style of learning. I enjoy finding creative , fun ways to engage the children in their subjects, while building confidence and understanding. I have over 17 years of experience working with a diverse group of students in a variety of settings. I was an Assistant Tennis Instructor in high school, a Licensed Nurse at a family practice in my hometown state of Indiana, a Line therapist for Autism Intervention Milwaukee, a Special Education Assistant and Vocational Skills coach for 6 years at Yeshiva Elementary School in Milwaukee, and a K3/K4 Teachers Assistant at St. Mary Parish School in Hales Corners for 8 years. I attended Purdue North Central, IUPUI and Indiana University for studies in Elementary Education. I received my License for Practical Nursing from Ivy Tech State College in 2000. My husband Jim and I have 2 daughters Ana and Avery. Both of whom attend a Catholic School. As a family we enjoy traveling, camping, and time Up North. When I am not cheering on my daughters' sporting events, I am shopping, reading thrillers, playing tennis or working on DIY home projects. I am blessed to be working at St. Matthias. Everyone works as a team and are very supportive of one another. I enjoy seeing the children’s curiosity and knowledge in their faith grow.
