Years in Education: 15

Years at St. Matthias Parish School: 4

Before joining St. Matthias Parish School I taught Spanish for 11 years to grades K5-8th. My years in the language classroom allowed me to share my passion for Spanish and culture, but overtime I was drawn to the opportunity to work closely with one group of students throughout the entire school year, allowing me to build stronger relationships, support their individual growth, and be part of their academic and personal journey each day. St. Matthias Parish School holds a special place in my heart. My grandparents were parishioners here and my mom's entire family attended primary school at St. Matthias. It immediately felt like home when I joined their teaching staff 4 years ago. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my parents and my husband. I also love running outdoors, lifting weights and spending time outside with our 2 dogs, Lambeau and Maizey. We also have 2 kitty cats, Lucy and JJ, that love my attention as well. I'm looking forward to another fun, exciting, and successful school year!
