I am excited to begin my 22nd year in education and my fourth year at St. Matthias! Before joining this wonderful team, I spent 14 years teaching third grade at three different schools in the Milwaukee. Then I transitioned into my current role as a Reading Interventionist and Director of Curriculum and Assessment. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is fostering a love of reading in my students. I believe that helping children discover the joy and confidence that comes from reading opens the door to lifelong learning, and I enjoy sharing that enthusiasm with every student I work with. Outside of school, my husband, Bill, and I enjoy spending time with our two daughters, Stella and Elizabeth. This summer, our family grew with the adoption of a puppy named Rocky, and we are excited to welcome him into our home. I look forward to another wonderful year of learning, growing, and supporting our students and families!
